Our Stay and Play Explorer sessions invite children aged 18 months to 5 years, along with their carers, to enjoy an engaging and fun-filled adventure in the great outdoors. These 90-minute weekday morning sessions are designed to spark curiosity, foster creativity, and provide plenty of opportunities for free exploration.

Each session is inspired by the seasons, with a different theme to explore every time. We begin and end with circle time, where we introduce the theme of the day, share a story, and take part in a group activity. Throughout the session, there are several themed activities for children to enjoy, along with healthy snacks cooked over the fire and lively songs to keep everyone entertained.

Children are free to lead their own play and engage in a variety of woodland activities, such as:

• Mud painting

• Digging and exploring nature

• Music making

• Role play in the mud kitchen

• Den building

• Pond dipping

• Climbing and swinging

• Bug hunting

• And much more!​

Our sessions are all about learning through play, connecting with nature, and creating lasting memories with friends and carers. We look forward to welcoming you and your little explorer to join us for some outdoor fun and discovery!​

Bookings are made for a term at a time, the cost per session is £9.00, and we offer 10% discount for additional siblings, non-walkers are free to attend.
